On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Long Island Society of Health-system Pharmacists hosted its June CE event at the North Hempstead Country Club. This special evening was made even more meaningful with the installation of our new officers and delegates.
We were delighted to welcome all of our elected delegates to the Board and celebrate the installation of our new President-Elect, Michael Bosco, and President for the 2026–2027 term, Sum Lam. Our Immediate Past President, Stephanie Nieves, delivered a heartfelt outgoing address, reflecting on her time as President and offering her warmest wishes to the incoming Board as they begin this new chapter.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to our speaker, Judith Beizer, for an engaging and informative presentation on medication safety and the Beers Criteria. Her insights provided our members with valuable knowledge to take back to their practice.
A special congratulations to our Vendor of the Year, Paratek! We are incredibly grateful to Mary Rohan and Jaime Komlanvi for their enthusiasm, dedication, and unwavering support of LISHP throughout the year. It has been a pleasure working with you, and we truly value the partnership we have built together.
