By registering for a LISHP event, you agree to abide by these standards. LISHP reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise violates these standards.
- Appropriate attire: Dress in professional attire suitable for a business meeting (i.e. business casual).
- Punctuality: Arrive on time for sessions and adhere to scheduled breaks.
- Adherence to venue rules: Follow the rules and regulations of the meeting venue.
- Consume alcohol responsibly: If you decide to consume alcohol during events, please drink responsibly. You are responsible for the safety of self and others around you.
- Consideration for fellow attendees: Take a reasonable portion of food to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the provided meal.
- Responsible use of electronic devices: Refrain from excessive use of cell phones or other electronic devices during presentations and discussions. Silence devices to avoid disruption.
- Respectful communication: Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor in all interactions, including verbal and written communication, with colleagues, speakers, and staff. Avoid disruptive side conversations during presentations.
- Active participation: Engage in discussions and activities in a constructive and thoughtful manner.
- Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of any shared information during the event.
