We kicked off the new year with a meeting that focused on two very important public health topics: Prevention of Fatal Opioid Overdoses and Hepatitis C infection. We were very pleased to have Dr. Michael Delman, Senior Vice-President Academic Affairs, Southside Hospital as a guest speaker. Dr. Delman trained our members on how to prevent a fatal opioid overdoses through the use of Naloxone. Our CE program was a Hepatitis C update by Dr. Susan Lee.
